them entertained. Feeding, grooming and riding
horses, petting the new colts, checking for eggs in
the “Hen Yard”, filling water buckets and re-
loading the grain cart are all part of the everyday
life on the JHP, and kids of all ages seem to thrive
on “Being Involved” in this wonderful way of life.
Playing with the dogs and cats, hiking, fishing,
archery, hot dogs and big stories around the
campfire after dark are other fun activities for all
ages.
